I have been flat ironing my hair lately. Maybe about 10 or 20 pieces in the shower and when I comb it wet. but when it is try I see a few long strands BUT then several little pieces about 3" long. Is that something to be concerned about? I have heard of hair breakage from the scalp but I don't think that is the case because my hair comes down to the middle of my back(and has layers) but the pieces are just like 3 or 4" long. Just had my hair cut a few weeks ago so it can't bebecause I needa cut.

Actually, you loose around 100 strands of hair a day. Don't fret. However, if you start seeing bald spots, then start worrying.

thats normal the regular person looses 200=300 strands a day
