Hair shedding... i'm worried...?

for the last 2 years i've been losing so much hair after showers, combing, or just simply sleeping on my bed. i can pretty much blame a perm gone bad. after two years i did manage to grow my natural hair back, however, it's not straight anymore. it's wavy, thinning, and lacks the beautiful color of black (my natural hair). it's damaging to anyone's esteem.

i'm wondering what can i do to buffer the shedding. i am taking my vitamins and eating a substantial diet. i don't know what to do. should i consult my doctor about this? i can't even tie up my hair or let it down.. i'm only 18.

speak to the dr ASAP, extensions might be a suggestion but speak to him first

seeing a dr would be your best bet if you are eating correctly and not damaging it more by dying it and such.

BALDNESS:

Massage your scalp with extra virgin coconut oil or pure sesame oil daily. This will cause new hair growth to develop as well as stop dandruff.

Eat 20 Goji Berries daily to make your hair grow again, and turn back to its natural color. You can find them at www.nutsonline.com at a very reasonable price. On your order page tell them I referred you and we will both get 10% off our order. joydoctor2001@msn.com

Massage a few drops of Kyolic Liquid Odorless Garlic on the bald areas every day, and in a few months you will find new hair growth there. Keep this up daily, and you will eventually grow new hair in the baldspot area. No garlic is completely odorless, so be forewarned that your head will smell of garlic. You can do this in the evening, then shampoo your hair in the morning.

If you're on a strict diet that could have caused the problem.

shave it bald

say that you have a genetic deposition for hair falling out and you. Believe me alot of guys think that is very sexy because you do not care what other girls think. You do what you want to do. You go girl!

Definatly contact your doctor. There may be other sympotms you have that you don't realize you have that he will ask you.

See your doctor. Anemia can cause hair to fall out (it happened to me), also problems with your thyroid can do it, lupus can do it. If new hair is falling out it's probably not the perm. A dermatologist is good to go to. He may have you jump start your regrowth with a Rogaine type product. Good luck.

See a dermatologist. Are you taking any medication other then the vitamins? This is sometimes a side effect of certain meds.

If you are only 18 and two years after the bad perm, I would speak to physician about this problem. I wouldn't do another thing to your hair until it stopped falling out...no color, no chemicals of any kind. If your hair is just damaged this is likely to make the problem even worse. You need to get your hair healthy again before you perm or color. You can try hot oil treatments or go to the salon for deep conditioning treatments, but def talk to your doctor to make sure something more is not happening.

maybe you are also under stress. Over treatment plus stress will contribute to increase hairfall. Do exercise. it will improve circulation to the scalp and decrease stress. Do not pull your hair with tight clips or ponytail. Bend down and massage your scalp once daily. Do try Pantene hairfall. control.
