How do i keep my hair healthy?

I've never colored my hair before, i use Panten Pro-v, I straighten it almost ever day for like 3 mins, and it's long.



But my hair doesn't seem that healthy to me. it falls out a lot like not in big clumps but like at the end of the week there's a lot of hair in my comb and i often find loose strands on my cloths and in the shower and stuff.



Is there something i should be doing or using to make it heather?

keep it well moisturized



avoid excessive heat use



dont over do the chemicals (dyes, perms, etc.)



maintain a healthy diet



drink plenty of water



take vitamin e pills



keep the scalp healthy



get dead ends trimmed every 3 months



its normal to shed a certain amount of strands each day, so dont worry. it just gets rid of dead hairs and makes room for new ones.



just try to give your hair a break from straightening it so often. heat dries your hair and makes it brittle so it breaks off.

hmmm i was watching this one thing on tv and they said before you take a shower to get your hair damp and get about 1 cup of olive oil and put it in your hair. Use a comb and brush through it after you put it in to make sure it is well coated. Then put your hair in a shower cap and let it soak for 45 min then wash your hair.

It is natural for you to loose hair when you shower and comb it. You should loose hundreds of strands of hair a week. So don't worry about that. I have long hair and straighten my hair everyday. Once a week I put a hot oil treatment in my hair because I straighten my hair so much. I also use Panten Pro-V. You have long hair and of course it is going to be on your clothes. Don't worry, I am sure your hair is healthy. Just use the hot oil treatments more.
