If I use a pressing comb will my hair turn back natural?

Okay my hair is natural and I might want to press my hair in the near future. How much do they cost? How long does it last?/

The cost to have it done professionally depends on where you live and of course the type of salon that you go to; I charge $56+ and I live in Dallas. Not a lot of stylist still do it, but it is regaining popularity. A good press is nice, lite and shiny, do not use grease if you want it to look natural. If you are going to do it yourself, you may want to get an electric comb with regulated heat; kinda like a curling iron, about $30. A real pressing comb costs $10- 15; it will give the best and longest lasting press, but you will need a certain amount of skill to do it without singeing your hair. The more you press your hair, the more you will lose your natural curl. You will notice that the ends will get straighter %26amp; straighter when its wet. This is normal because you are manipulating the hair with heat. Keep your ends trimmed and your hair in good condition if this is something you want to do. Good luck.

10-25 dollars. it can last as long as you take care of it. like giving it moisture. wit grease or watever you use on your hair

you can have someone (that you trust) press it for you. a professional press is about 25 dollars. if you don't wet your hair, and don't sweat much it can last for about 2 weeks. after it gets wet, you hair will look like it did before pressing it.

its like $25 it does not last long maybe a week and a half or so

it depends were you go but i know a spot thats about $15 and once you rinse or wash your hair it will go back to your natural texture

A PRESSING COMB IS $12 AND UP. REMEMBER THAT A PRESSING COMB OR (HEAT) WILL CHANGE THE TEXTURE OF YOUR HAIR FOREVER. WHEN STEAM HIT THE STRAIGHT HAIR, THAT WILL BE THE END OF IT AND YOUR HAIR WILL BE BACK TO NATURAL JUST THAT FAST. ITS WORTH IT IF YOU CAN KEEP IT MAINTAINED, I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU GET IT "FLAT IRONED" AND WRAP YOUR HAIR WHEN YOU TAKE A SHOWER AND WHEN YOU'RE AROUND THE HOUSE. YOU CAN ALSO PRESS AND WRAP IT

GOOD LUCK

If you buy a hot comb, make sure you get the more expensive professional kind that either you put on the stove top or that has it's own oven, because those cheap plug in kind are not really that good and can easily damage your hair because they do not generate enough heat. It may be a bit more costly, but believe me you'll be better off in the long run. Becareful not to overly press out your hair all the time because that too will damage it. If your not sure and or have never pressed your hair before, I would recommend you go to a beauty salon for a while to have it done so you can see how to do it correctly without damaging your hair. They will probably charge around $45 for wash, condition, and press. Once you press it out It's very important to keep your scalp and hair greased properly or it will dry out, split ends, and brake off, especially around your edges with can thin out. Wash and condition it once every two weeks which will be about how long the press will last depending on what all you do to in during that time frame. Remember, it's not a straight perm so don't expect to go swimming an have your hair come out still looking silky smooth.
