Synthetic hair pieces are generally styled permanently and attempting to straighten them results in damage. Do not use a regular straightening iron unless you can adjust the temperature to a very low setting. Synthetic hair will melt if given half a chance. You could try getting it wet and holding it straight with a comb while blow drying on a low setting. If all else fails, you could contact a wig stylist and see what they have to say. Better safe than sorry and having to buy a new one.
