I have soft hair, that is a 1/2 inch long.. What is the best dreadlocking method?

I've seen people twist their hair and it stay, and I have had comb twist (don't have them now) but can my hair lock from comb twist? are there anymore methods I could use?

Don't wash it...bees wax it and twist it at least once a day, twice or three times if you can fit it in. Don't cut it either. You might not like the odor at first, but the bees wax is supposed to protect the hair and keep it clean.

And...just so yah know, you might have to shave your head to get rid of them later.

You also might need to wait til it is slightly longer to start. Dryer hair works best for shorter lengths. If yours is soft, it might be a while or you may need to rat it with a comb first and get it all knotted.

Go get it done at a professional styling place. They can do it great and they can give you tips on how to maintain it.
