How can you incooperate Urban hairstyles with hair loss?

Now I have grown out my hair before but because of my decision to join the health-care profession I had to cut it which was a bad mistake because soon after I experienced hairloss and my hair line starting to run track faster that Marion Jones. Now I am not completely bald but my hair is thinning out in the front around the hair line and in the center of my scalp but I have decided to grow it again. I was considering getting the comb twist thing done in my hair but I wanted to ask you guys what would be the optimal length to have the comb twist done in your hair and would thinning hair be a problem with having the style done or is it all about length? Please respond to this. I would like the hair done for my graduation in June so should I continue to grow to get it done or cut it and rock the bald look?

...seriously look in the mirror at what you have to work with and ask yourself this question...I'm ammussed yet confused by your question...go to a braiding shop b/c they usually do natural styles too...and see what they think about the twists, they sound nice to me, and I think that if you put something to stimulate your scalp on it along with just letting the hair "be", your hair can come back in...but if you have bald spots all over your head it'll look ...(well well)...

Go bald. It will look much better. Cut it short, don't shave it. I've never seen anything else look good.

Honest opinion.
